The goal of counseling is to create a caring and collaborative relationship that focuses on your needs and concerns. I will work with you to define the presenting problem you’re seeking help with, discuss your goals for counseling and determine next steps. Counseling can allow you to live a healthy, happy, and connected life, free from the issues holding you down.
The first session of counseling is an intake session (75mins). It is here where I will do assessments, review policies and procedures, conduct interviews, and begin to customised one-on-one therapy that addresses your needs and concerns.
Painful emotional beliefs and reservations can restrict a person from meeting their goals, or following their passion. This can be overpowering when a person starts to accept such beliefs as reality. Counseling helps the patient in not only self-reflection, but also encourages self-reliance and self-confidence as well.
