What can I expect in a counseling session?

Every therapy session is confidential, unique, and tailored to each individual and their specific goals. Planning a series of weekly sessions, each lasting 60 minutes. Depending on the issue(s), more than one session per week may be needed. Therapy can be short-term, focusing on a specific topic, or longer-term, addressing more complex issues or ongoing personal growth. Sometimes you are asked to take particular actions outside therapy sessions, such as journaling or keeping records to track certain behaviors. You must actively participate during and between sessions for therapy to be most effective.
